VOICE MORSE PRACTICE - ALT+F7
Voice Morse Practice is used to generate random morse symbols
at specific speeds for hand written reception. This utility has been
provided to practice letters which you may be causing problems during the
Voice Morse Lessons. This selection will initiate an input screen in
which you must specify the following data:
1. Morse Character Speed, a value in the range of 5 to 99 WPM.
2. Inter Character Delay, a value in the range of 750 to 9999ms.
3. Number of Symbols, a value in the range of 5 to 999.
4. Morse Type, the type of symbol to sound. For more information on
morse symbols select MORSE SYMBOLS from the Help Menu.
5. Additional Characters - input any additional characters that you
wish to practice. If the MORSE TYPE selected is ADDITIONAL then characters
sounded will be selected from those appearing in this window. Characters
must be separated by a space. You may define the same symbol multiple
times in order to bias its selection. For example, if the morse type was
specified as LETTERS, and the additional field contained "S S H H", then
it would be more likely for these characters to be sounded during the
practice session. However if the morse type specified was ADDITIONAL,
then characters sounded would be selected from the additional characters
window only.
6. At the completion of the first data window, you will receive a
prompt for Symbol Verification (Aural and Visual) to be ON or OFF.
At the end of the practice, session details will be written to
file as a permanent record.
